Two Ways to Put the Age on a Cake
A number cake can carry the age on top, or be the number itself.
The classic way is a round cake with a number topper: a gold or colored figure, a pair of foil balloons or a big number painted on the side. It works for any age and any size, from a Small bento for two to a Two-Tier cake for a big party, and it leaves room for the name and a short message.
A number-shaped cake is cut in the form of the digits themselves and decorated on top with cream, berries, chocolate, macarons or flowers. The base can be sponge, honey cake or shortcrust; we agree on it when you order. It looks striking on a party table and is easy to share. For a two-digit age like 18, 30 or 60, we place the digits side by side and plan the portions so there is enough for every guest.
For children, the number usually goes with a theme: a “1” with balloons and a teddy bear, a “5” with a favorite cartoon, a “10” on a football cake. For adults we often keep it simple and stylish: one color, a clean number and a funny or warm message. Milestone birthdays and anniversaries, like a 25th or a 50th, suit gold, white and fresh flowers.

How to Plan a Number Cake

Topper or Number Shape
Choose a topper if you want a tall, classic cake with room for a name, a theme figure or flowers. Choose a number-shaped cake if the digits themselves should be the show and the guests will share it at the table. A topper also travels more easily to a beach venue or a boat, because a round cake sits steady in its box.

Count Guests, Not Digits
A “1” and an “8” are very different shapes, so the number alone doesn’t tell us the size. Give us the guest count first, then the number, and we’ll work out the right size for each digit or the right round cake. If some guests are children, say so: children eat smaller slices, and you may need less cake than you think.

Make the Number Readable
The number should be clear from across the room and in photos. Pick one main color for the digits that contrasts with the cream, for example gold on white, white on pink or black on pale blue. Keep the busiest decorations around the number, not on top of it, and choose a short message so the age stays the hero. Not sure which colors work? Can the cake itself be shaped like a number?
Yes, on request. A number-shaped cake is cut in the form of the digit and decorated on top with cream, berries, chocolate or flowers. Tell us the number and your guest count, and we’ll suggest the size of each digit. If you need a lot of portions or a very detailed design, a round cake with a number topper can be the simpler choice.
Can you make a cake with two digits, like 18 or 30?
Yes. For a number-shaped cake we make both digits and set them side by side, so the cake covers a bit more of the table. For a round cake we add a two-digit topper or paint the number on the side. Two digits also leave less room for writing, so tell us early if you want a name and a message too.
What size should I order for a number cake?
Start from the number of guests. A Small bento with a number topper serves 2–3 people and is a lovely gift for a couple. A Medium maxi bento serves 4–6, a Large cake 8–12, and a Two-Tier cake 14–28. Number-shaped cakes are sized by portions as well, so just tell us how many people will be at the party.
Can you add the name and a message as well as the number?
Of course. We can write the name and a short message in any language on the cake or on a plaque. Please send the exact spelling in WhatsApp, together with the number, so we can plan where everything fits. On small cakes we may suggest a shorter message so the number stays easy to read.
Can you match the cake to our party colors or theme?
Yes. Send us the colors, a photo of the balloons or invitation, or the theme, for example a cartoon, a sport or a favorite hobby. We’ll repeat the colors in the cream, the number and the decorations, so the cake looks like part of the party table in photos.
Do you make number cakes for anniversaries and jubilees?
Yes. A 10th, 25th or 50th anniversary or a 60th birthday is a perfect occasion for a number cake. For these we often suggest a calm palette, gold or white numbers and fresh flowers or berries. We can also add both names and the year you met.
How long does it take to prepare a cake?
Most cakes are ready within 1–3 business days, depending on the complexity of the design and the chosen filling. If you need a cake urgently, message us on WhatsApp — rush orders are often possible, and we'll tell you honestly what we can do in time.
How does cake delivery work?
We deliver cakes to your address at a time that suits you. Every cake is carefully packed to keep its shape and freshness, and depending on the distance it travels by motorcycle or car. Delivery is available throughout Phuket. The delivery fee depends on the distance and is confirmed with your order. Self-pickup is also possible.
