One Cake for the Photos, One Moment for the Family
A first birthday cake is really two things: a treat for the family and the star of the party photos.
A first birthday is often a family gathering — grandparents, cousins, a few friends with their own little ones — at home, in a rented villa or in a hotel garden. So we start with the guests: tell us how many adults and children will eat cake, and we’ll suggest a size, from a Medium maxi bento for a small family table to a Large cake for roughly eight to twelve people.
If you want a cake the baby can grab and taste during the photos, ask for a separate small smash cake, made in the Small bento size on request. The main cake then stays intact and neat for the guests to cut, and the birthday child gets a cake of their own for the camera.
A ONE topper or a number one, the baby’s name on a plaque or on the cake, the date if you like — these bring the whole theme together. Chocolate balloons, playful polka dots, a teddy bear in a party hat or little animals are familiar options, but the final design can follow your own reference. Send a photo of the invitation, the balloon arch or the table setting, and we’ll match the colors to the room.
We deliver at the time we agree with you, so the cake is in place before the guests sit down. If you are busy with the baby, the villa manager can receive the box for you. Design, delivery time and the final price are confirmed in WhatsApp before you pay.
Tip: A separate smash cake is optional: ask for it when you discuss the main cake, so both are planned in the same colors.

Set the Time Around the Baby
A tired baby rarely enjoys the cake moment. Many parents plan the candle and the photos right after a nap, when the birthday child is rested and curious. Decide that moment first, then agree the delivery time with us and tell us who will receive the box — a parent, a relative or the villa manager — so nobody has to leave the baby at the wrong minute.

Keep the Cake Cool Until the Candle
Phuket afternoons are hot, and cream cakes do not belong on an open terrace or a pool deck. Keep the cake in the fridge if possible, or at least in an air-conditioned room, and bring it out only for the candle, the song and the photos. Do not leave it standing outdoors while the party goes on.

Decide on a Smash Cake Early
A smash cake is optional, but it is easier to plan both cakes together than to add one at the last minute. Think about whether the baby will touch the cake at all, and whether you want the smash moment filmed. Before the baby gets close to any cake, take off the candles, sticks and toppers — they look great in photos but are not for little hands.

What is a smash cake, and do we need one?
A smash cake is a small cake made just for the birthday baby to dig into with their hands, usually for photos. It is optional, and we make it on request, usually in the Small bento size. Parents like it because the main cake stays beautiful for the guests to cut, while the baby gets a cake of their own.
Can you make a cake for a big family party?
Yes. Besides a Two-Tier cake, we can make a long cake from several sections, deliver it in parts and assemble it at the venue, enough for around fifty guests. It is a good option for a villa party with relatives and friends. Tell us the guest count early so we can plan the shape and the delivery.
What size cake do we need for a first birthday party?

Yes. We can add the name on a plaque or on the cake itself, a ONE or number one topper, and the date if you like. Send the exact spelling in WhatsApp, especially for names in other languages or with special letters, so the name on the cake is exactly right.
Can the cake match our party decorations?
Yes, and it looks best when it does. Send us a photo of the invitation, the balloon arch or the table setting, and we’ll pick the cream colors, toppers and details to match — whether it is pastel pink and gold, blue and white polka dots or a safari theme with little animals.
How should we store the cake before the party?
Keep it cool. The best place is the fridge; if the cake does not fit, an air-conditioned room will do. Do not leave it outdoors or on a sunny terrace, even for a short time. Bring it out just before the candle and the photos, and cut it soon after.
How long does it take to prepare a cake?
Most cakes are ready within 1–3 business days, depending on the complexity of the design and the chosen filling. If you need a cake urgently, message us on WhatsApp — rush orders are often possible, and we'll tell you honestly what we can do in time.
How does cake delivery work?
We deliver cakes to your address at a time that suits you. Every cake is carefully packed to keep its shape and freshness, and depending on the distance it travels by motorcycle or car. Delivery is available throughout Phuket. The delivery fee depends on the distance and is confirmed with your order. Self-pickup is also possible.
