A gender reveal cake has one job: keep the answer hidden until everyone is watching.
The outside stays neutral: white, cream, pastel mint or a soft mix of pink and blue with a question like “Boy or Girl?” or “He or She?”. The answer sits inside. It can be a pink or blue sponge, a colored cream layer, or a hollow center filled with colored candy that spills out when you cut the cake. All three work with most of our flavors, and cream is the one our customers choose most often. Pick your option, and we’ll agree the exact combination with you before you order.
Many parents don’t know the result themselves. In that case, ask your doctor, a sister or a close friend to message the answer directly to our WhatsApp. We discuss the color only with that person, never mention it in our chat with you, and they can check a photo of the finished cake before delivery if they like.
Phuket is a beautiful place for a reveal: a villa pool party with family, a beach picnic at sunset, a dinner at your hotel. Choose Who Cuts First
Agree in advance who holds the knife: both parents together, an older sibling, or a grandparent on a video call. Cut one clean slice from the side and lift it out slowly, facing the guests and the camera. A first slice from the middle shows the color best, so mark the spot with a small topper if the cake is large.

Get the Light and Camera Ready
Pink and blue look brightest in soft daylight or warm evening light, and pale under strong white lamps. Ask one guest to film from the front and another to take photos, and test the angle before you cut. Keep the cake away from direct sun until the last minute so the cream stays neat for the pictures.

Match the Guests to the Reveal
Some families like a game: guests vote “team pink” or “team blue” with stickers or colored drinks before the cake is cut. If relatives abroad are joining online, schedule the cutting for a time that works in their time zone too, and send them the link a day ahead so nobody misses the moment.

Think About After the Reveal
Once the secret is out, the cake becomes dessert. Have plates, napkins and a second knife ready, and someone to serve while the parents celebrate. If the party runs late in a warm villa, put the leftover cake back in the fridge within an hour or two, and it will keep well until the next day. If you ordered a removable plaque, take it off before slicing and keep it as a souvenir of the day.

Can the outside stay completely neutral?
Yes. Popular choices are white or cream with gold details, pastel mint, or pink and blue together with a question like “Boy or Girl?” or “He or She?”. Teddy bears, bunnies, baby footprints and question marks are neutral too. Send a reference photo, and we’ll keep every visible detail free of hints.
Can you deliver the cake to a villa or a beach party?
We deliver across Phuket to villas, hotels and restaurants. For a beach or pool party, you can choose delivery about an hour before the start, or an earlier delivery with the cake kept in the venue’s fridge until the reveal. Share the address and the time you plan to cut the cake, and we’ll agree the delivery time with you.
What size do we need for a reveal party?
For just the two of you, a Small bento cake is enough. A Medium maxi bento suits four to six guests, a Large cake eight to twelve, and a Two-Tier cake fourteen to twenty-eight. If you also want cupcakes with the same hidden color for your guests, ask us, and we’ll prepare them together with the cake.
Can you add a message for the baby or the parents?
Yes. We can add a short message such as “Welcome, Baby”, the expected month, or the parents’ names in any language. If you want to keep the topper as a souvenir after the party, ask for a plaque that’s easy to remove. Send the exact spelling in WhatsApp when you order.
How long does it take to prepare a cake?
Most cakes are ready within 1–3 business days, depending on the complexity of the design and the chosen filling. If you need a cake urgently, message us on WhatsApp — rush orders are often possible, and we'll tell you honestly what we can do in time.
How does cake delivery work?
We deliver cakes to your address at a time that suits you. Every cake is carefully packed to keep its shape and freshness, and depending on the distance it travels by motorcycle or car. Delivery is available throughout Phuket. The delivery fee depends on the distance and is confirmed with your order. Self-pickup is also possible.
