A New Year cake has one job: to be on the table when the countdown ends.
New Year’s Eve is a big night in Phuket. Villas fill with friends, families book long dinners, and many guests celebrate twice: once by the clock on the island and once on a video call with home. A cake fits into any of these plans, as long as it is in your fridge in time. Our bakery is closed on December 31 and January 1, so New Year cakes are delivered or picked up no later than December 30.
The look is up to you. We make black and gold cakes with dark cream, gold lettering, stars and champagne glasses for a countdown party. For a warm family New Year we can also make a cake in red and green with cream flowers and a greeting in your own language. Both directions work on a small bento cake as well as on a larger cake for the whole table.
A New Year cake is easy to make personal. The coming year can be piped in cream on a cake of any size. We have ready-made toppers too: “Happy New Year”, numbers, symbols of the year, Santa and other figures. A photo or a picture can be printed on sugar paper, and a wish in any language can go on the cake or on a card.
Send us the date, the address and the number of guests on WhatsApp. We’ll suggest a design and a size, confirm the flavor and the price before you pay, and set the arrival time with you.
Tip: We are closed on December 31 and January 1. Plan to receive your cake on December 30 and keep it in the fridge until the party.
How to Plan a New Year Cake in Phuket
A few decisions that make the last days of the year easier.

Order Early in December
The best time to place a New Year order is before December 10–15. After that we take an order only if there are still free slots, and with prepayment. Writing early also leaves time to settle the design calmly and, if you want a particular topper, to find it and get it here before the holiday.

Gold and Black or Red and Green
A countdown party in a villa suits dark cream, gold lettering, stars and champagne glasses. A family evening with children feels warmer in white with red and green cream flowers, pearls and a handwritten greeting. Tell us what the table and the room will look like, or send a photo of your decorations, and we’ll match the cake to them.

Add the Year, a Topper or a Wish
The year in numbers is the most direct New Year decoration, and we pipe it in cream on any size of cake. Names of the guests, a toast or one line about next year’s plans make the cake personal: send the exact text on WhatsApp as a message and tell us the language. Ask which ready-made toppers we have. If you would like one we don’t stock, we can order it from a marketplace once the timing and availability are agreed.

Receive the Cake on December 30
There is no delivery and no pickup on December 31 and January 1. Arrange a time on December 30 when somebody is at home or at reception to accept the cake. Make room in the fridge beforehand: villa fridges are often full of drinks at this time of year, and a box with a cake needs a whole shelf. Take the cake out shortly before you serve it.

How early should I order a New Year cake?

Yes. The year can be piped in cream on a cake of any size. We also have ready-made toppers: “Happy New Year”, numbers, symbols of the year, Santa and other figures. A particular topper can be ordered from a marketplace after we agree on the timing and check that it is available.
Can the greeting be in another language?
Yes. We write greetings in any language, on the cake itself or on a card. Send the exact text on WhatsApp as a message rather than a picture, so we can copy it letter by letter. A photo or a picture can also be printed on sugar paper.
Can I order a cake for Old New Year or Christmas on January 7?
Yes. A cake for Christmas on January 7 or for Old New Year is ordered like any other cake: tell us the date and the greeting you would like. Please keep in mind that the bakery is closed on December 31 and January 1.
How long does it take to prepare a cake?
Most cakes are ready within 1–3 business days, depending on the complexity of the design and the chosen filling. If you need a cake urgently, message us on WhatsApp — rush orders are often possible, and we'll tell you honestly what we can do in time.
